Kenosha Courthouse and Post Office To Resume Normal Operations Tuesday

KENOSHA, WI (WLIP)–One of the areas at the center of the action following the shooting of Jacob Blake is returning back to normal.

The Kenosha County Courthouse is reopening today for normal operations with Covid-19 restrictions in place. Jury trials are being held in person while some hearings will be done virtually.

Enhanced cleaning protocols will remain in place between court sessions. Despite lingering security measures around the courthouse, the public will be able to enter for regular business. Other county buildings will remain closed until further notice.

The Kenosha Post Office will reopen today as well for normal operations.

There’s no official word on damage done inside the building despite earlier reports to the contrary.
