Multiple People Hurt in Early Sunday Shooting

KENOSHA, WI (WLIP)–Multiple people were injured in a shooting incident early Sunday in Kenosha.

Police responded to the 6800 block of 26th Avenue around 1:30 AM after a patrol officer heard shots ring out in the area.

Multiple calls then came in for people injured in the area.

Police found one person with non-life threatening injuries at the scene.

Another person went to the hospital with a non-life threatening injury.

A third may have turned up at a hospital in Illinois but it hasn’t been confirmed that the person was injured in the Kenosha incident.

Police say that they received little cooperation at the shooting scene, so few details of what led up to the shooting are known.

No suspects have been identified and no one is in custody in connection with the incident.
