KENOSHA, WI—Kenosha County Parks staff surveyed the damage along Kenosha’s lakefront yesterday from last weekend’s storms.

Specifically, the area around Kemper Center which was left torn apart and unusable.

Parks officials recommend that the public stay away from the multi use trail and the open spaces adjacent to the shoreline.

Those areas are undercut by the waves and further collapses of the shoreline could happen at any time.

Crews worked to remove hazards yesterday and officials ask the public for patience as they continue to work on short and long term repairs.
