Racine Homicide Suspect Arrested in Kenosha

Kenosha, WI (WLIP)–A homicide suspect from Racine was arrested in Kenosha Saturday.

Cash’Juan Butler was reportedly found at a residence in the 900 block of 52nd Street in Kenosha Saturday.

A large number of police resources were deployed to the scene but Butler surrendered and was arrested without incident.

Butler was wanted in relation to the shooting death of a 39 year old man early Saturday morning.

Racine police report that Butler tried to intervene and stop a physical assault of a 34 year old woman by the man he allegedly shot.

The man reportedly pushed Butler down a flight of stairs before Butler returned with a firearm and allegedly fired the fatal shots.

The investigation into the incident continues.
