Family, Community Continue to Mourn Kaylie Juga
KENOSHA, WI–The family, friends, and community continue to mourn the death of 16 year old Kaylie Juga who died at the scene of Thursday’s shooting. Her mother, Stephaine Juga continues to recover from her wounds.
Kaylie was an honor roll student at Bradford High School and had been in a relationship with her alleged killer. Bradford is back open this morning after classes were canceled Friday in the wake of the tragedy. Additional counselors will be on hand to help students begin to deal with last week’s events.
A statement on the family’s business Facebook page said “The Juga family would like to acknowledge and extend their gratitude (for) the many messages they have received,” and asked for privacy as they grieve.
A Go Fund Me page has been set up to help the Juga family.
Kaylie’s parents have asked KUSD students and staff to wear pink to school today in her memory.
