KENOSHA, WI—A motion to move the trial of Martice Fuller out of Kenosha was denied. Citing local media coverage of the case-including a WLIP interview with the victim’s father-Fuller’s attorney asked the judge in the case to move the trial.

However Judge Mary Kay Wagner said the murder of Kaylie Juga received so much attention everywhere that it could be difficult to find a jury pool anywhere that hasn’t heard of the case. But she thought it is possible to find an unbiased jury here in Kenosha.

Wagner also ruled that information about Juga and Fuller’s previous relationship will be admissible. The trial is set to get underway next month.
