The Kenosha County Fair opens Wednesday in Wilmot, celebrating it’s 99th year.

Gates open at 8 AM and music on the Creekside Stage begins at 2 PM with the Southport Sound Polka Band and then the band Blue Steel will be on at 8 PM. WLIP will be broadcasting live from just inside the main entrance.

Fair Manager Denise Zirbil told WLIP’s Wake Up Kenosha that the fair is an important tradition.

 

 

Zirbil says that the fair offers an important educational opportunity.
