Kenoshans Utilizing 2-1-1 Hotline

KENOSHA WI (WLIP)—Kenoshans are utilizing the new 2-1-1 hotline to find information and resources related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Kenosha ranks second in the state for call volume to the hotline, behind only Milwaukee.

365 calls came in from Kenosha County, 302 came from the city itself, which has reported the largest number of positive cases in the county. The age range of the calls is wide with the youngest being under 5 to as old as 86.

But the majority are people in their 40’s and 50’s, the age group that has the most positive cases locally. The hotline is run by a Milwaukee based private nonprofit organization.
