Man Found Guilty in Libertyville Murder

(Waukegan, IL) A Round Lake Beach man has been found guilty in a Libertyville murder.
A Lake County jury deliberated less than 3 hours before returning the verdict against Kenneth Seplak. Seplak was accused of shooting and killing David Gorski in December of 2016, after the victim had gone to a movie with a woman that the suspect had been accused of stalking.
The 39-year-old now faces up to life in prison and a sentencing date at the end of July.
His defense says they plan to file motions for a new trial, saying there were errors made during court proceedings.
