Mundelein Man Due in Court Wednesday on Drug and Weapons Charges

(Mundelein, IL) A court hearing will take place today for a man arrested earlier this month on drug and weapons charges in Mundelein. A search warrant involving a SWAT team turned up three guns, cocaine, cash, and other items believed to be used in drug sales. Arrested was Orlando Garcia, a documented street gang member that was on probation for a previous criminal conviction. The 28-year-old faces charges of armed violence, manufacturing or delivery of cocaine and unlawful possession of a firearm. He’s being held on pre-trial detention at the Lake County Jail.
