One Dead in I-94 Crash

RACINE, WI—A Kenosha man is dead after a fatal crash on I-94 Saturday night.
The accident happened near Braun Road around 6:30 PM on a closed portion of the southbound lanes that is still under construction.
Officials say that a vehicle driven by 81 year old Ronald Shingleton of Kenosha entered the closed area near Highway 11 and while traveling southbound dropped on to an unpaved area before striking the opposite side.
A Wisconsin State Trooper responded to the scene and found Shingleton unconscious. He stopped breathing and life saving efforts were unsuccessful.
No other vehicles or passengers were involved. The crash remains under investigation.
