PLEASANT PRAIRIE, WI (WLIP)–One person suffered burn injuries and four occupants were displaced after a weekend fire.

It happened early Sunday at a residence on Highway 165 east on 39th Avenue.

Reports say that the fire was near a porch area on the exterior of the building.

The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.

As firefighters were on their way, the residents attempted to suppress the fire.

One person involved in those efforts refused medical treatment after being evaluated for minor burns to his feet.

The fire was put out about a half hour later.
