KENOSHA, WI (WLIP)–Authorities have identified the Kenosha man who was killed while reportedly attempting to rob an armored vehicle in Milwaukee on Friday.
42 year old Pablo Cesar Bermudez was said to have approached the armored truck and shot a 36 year old guard.
He was then shot and killed by another security guard outside of a southside bank branch.
The injured guard is expected to survive after being rushed to the hospital.
Police say they found two handguns and a shotgun at the scene.
Bermudez’ death has been ruled a homicide but any decision to charge the guard with murder would be made by the Milwaukee District Attorney’s office.
The DA’s office is reviewing the case.
